Thank you, and you should do the same, regardless of your county of origin.
What I mean by that is even if you're not from here and your are happy to be here now, show it, and consider yourself American then and take pride in it. Don't let the people who were fortunate enough to be born here and don't appreciate it and what we have deter you. They should be just as proud if not more so. They just don't realize how good we have it and WHY we DO have it that way. :(
Not to beat a dead horse, but again something else that really lit a fire under my arse -
Why was it that it wasn't until after Sept 11, 2001 you couldn't find or buy an American flag thingie to put on your car when it was all in style then, and now you don't see them and the stores are all full of them? How did having pride in your country go from being "in style" to being "out of style" again? Maybe we just need a little "reality check" once in a while is all huh?
