Yeah, they're probably trying to cash in, but also making a movie about an American special ops group defending the world only makes America look like it's flaunting it's power. Since America is already know as the bully of the world and getting into other countries business, it just wouldn't look good. This way, it's countries from around the world helping out.

Listen I like ARAH as much as the next guy, but don't you think that in our time and age they really need that "International" sense to really bring us together? NOT saying that this movie would do that but it wouldn't contribute if it were Red White n' Blue.

Let me try and make this a little more clear for some of you who do not get this -

The problem I have with this is someone is willing sell out the fact of having some pride in Amercia and letting this movie and team represent this JUST to make MORE MONEY.

It's called SELLING OUT.

How about showing some pride in your county and what you believe in and letting that be a little more important than your new Mercedes and the amount of zeros in your bank account?

Again, I think younger people just don't get it with all they are bombarded with in the media and what not.


......and no, I do not live alone in a shack in the woods with just a typewriter and spend all my time looking for black helicopters either.

I am just proud of my country, proud of being an American and proud of what GI Joe has meant to me and represented to me as I grew up and for the last 25 years also.

Thank you, and you should do the same, regardless of your county of origin.

What I mean by that is even if you're not from here and your are happy to be here now, show it, and consider yourself American then and take pride in it. Don't let the people who were fortunate enough to be born here and don't appreciate it and what we have deter you. They should be just as proud if not more so. Why was it that it wasn't until after Sept 11, 2001 you couldn't find or buy an American flag thingie to put on your car when it was all in style then, and now you don't see them and the stores are all full of them? How did having pride in your country go from being "in style" to being "out of style" again? Maybe we just need a little "reality check" once in a while is all huh?

The real issue is hasbro doesn't want to associate gi joe with the american millitary so they can cash in on there film with the foreign box office. They don't have any onions or patriotism.
