I'm curious, what are the scenes in the film that really made you say, "THAT IS G.I. JOE!"
I'd go for: -The Opening Convoy Scene -The Training Scene -The Pit Battle -The Launch of the Warheads -Arctic Base Battle And please, this is for the ones who appreciated the film. Feel free to choose more than one in the poll.

Storm Shadow vs Snake Eyes and as MonkeyWrench198 stated Zartan replacing the President.
I felt the plot was somewhat there but the scripting and execution was very weak. Larry Hama wrote better material for back in the early 80's. If you go back to the very first issue, it holds up making adult themed statements while still appealing to kids. I still do not know who this movie was written for. |

Sorry, I hated the film but I'm going to chime in anyway
To me, it was a scene inside of the Paris Pursuit scene. Not the chase in it's entirety, but the scene where Scarlett is on the motorcycle, and shoots the baddie in the head while Snake-Eyes hangs on underneath. That was pure GI Joe to me.

I think the attack on the PIT was more Joe than anything else. I also really enjoyed the desert assault, and the ninja fights were, as is par for me, amazing.

there were a lot and the people sitting next to us could tell I was a huge fan bc i could barely contain myself during some of the scenes that were oh so Joe. There was so much, I can`t wait for the blu-ray edition. My most gi joe moment was when snake eyes first appears. One of the most memorable for me was the ss se duel as children.

I went all 'Joe-Eyed' as soon as The Baroness stepped from the Razor Gunship for the first time.
Also, the Pit assault was very evocative of the comic story "Pit-Fall".

How 'bout when Duke got himself captured and rejoined the Joes as they were already laying siege to the enemy stronghold?
