he's destro hands down. He was my FAVORITE part of the movie. i just hope he can "think" the mask off his face kinda like spidey did when he had the symbiote costume.

I thought he sounded like a little girly man when he got his face burned up! (then again....who wouldn't after having your face messed up like that!) LOL!

I thought he played the part really well. I liked the Scottish accent for Destro too.

He was okay. Not stand out, but not too shabby. I'd have liked to see better....but it could have been far worse, so I'm not going to complain.
Not only are you cripplingly ignorant, you whine about it as well.

he's like William Wallace in GI JOE, the accent was great but two things are for sure...
1. I liked the scene when he kissed Sienna Miller (saliva transfer, look closely)
2. He's definitely a lot better than the so-called "lead" actor, Chaning Tatum (i think that's his name XD)

I'd say classic James Bond villain. Maybe more generic than classic, the wealthy "big boss" with secret plans, often involving weapon trading and terror is very common for Bond films.
To me it seems the early RAH villains were at least partially inspired by Bond's more colorful henchman types, like Jaws and Oddjob.
I like Eccelson, and Destro is supposed to be Scottish so I can't really fault him for failing to meet my perception of the character. I would have liked for him to have chosen to wear the mask as tradition, I always found that so cool! I suppose the nano-mask was their way to solve the moving metal deal. Gem on the necktie was a nice touch though.

I didnt vote because the poll doesnt fit my opinion.
Ecceleson was good as the Suited McCullen, but with the Mask on he kinda didnt feel Destro to me.
I would have preferred that he was able to remove the mask and was able to keep his MARS facade working til the sequel.
I am affraid though they will replace him like they did with the Doctor on the notion that as DESTRO, he was not convincing to me.

i'm a dr who fan and i think he was one of the high points of the movie. from what i saw of ol' c.c., i'm glad destro carried the movie as much as he did. well, he and the baroness. sucker for tight leather and dark hair and an attitude.
IDW's continuation of Marvel and Hama's classic continuity continues AND is utilizing more modern toys. It outsells Transformers but needs more readers and letter hacks. email@example.com re:postbox:the pit. this canon is more than a fad, let's proove it.
