I think and am sure that Storm shadow did a better job among all the cobras and joes...based on the moviegoers itself.

Man, 99 votes and Quaid is being shut-out.
I vote for JGL. The guy seemed to commit himself to the role. |

Storm Shadow was the shit, but the Doctor/CC was second IMO.

Can I vote for Sienna Miller's breasts?
Honestly, I cannot understand the recent swell of raving about JGL's turn as the Doc/CC. I thought he did a fine job, but nothing special. He didn't embarass himself or the character like a lot of people were moaning about here (myself included), saying "oh noez they got the kid from 3rd rock as CC!!!1!" But best performance? No way... I voted for Lee Byung-hun. I thought he perfectly captured a lot of SS's personality (deadliness, absolutely driven, but with a sense of honor).

Christopher Eccelston as Destro, followed by Quaid as Hawk, then Zartan. If only Tatum had been a bit rough around the edges kind-of-guy, perfect.

I thought Joseph Gordon Levitt was insane as Cobra Commander / The Doctor, and I mean that in the best way possible. It was like he was channeling a post-pubescent version of Chris Latta, with raspy voice and lingering "ssss" sounds still there, but 2 octaves deeper.
And of course, I gotta give props to Ray Park. He makes kicking ass look easy, even under 20 pounds of foam latex armor. He's long been an unsung favorite of mine, so hopefully in the sequel he gets more screen time and character development. Really, there were only a few perfomances in the movie I thought were weak, particularly Channing Tatum. He was just plain flat, but at least not bad enough to become a distraction.

The Doctor and Zartan were a bit disturbing for a children's movie. Anyone else agree?
I mean we never had villains so villainous when we were growing up. It was always, "I'll get you next time gadget!" and no one died. No Zartan killed the President and Destro sold weapons of death. |

The Doctor was my favorite performance, but I really enjoyed Storm Shadow in this too.

Had to vote for the Doctor. But really all the ones playing Cobra personnel did a great job.
