But how would I eat if I had no mouth?
Seriously though the lips/mouth has to go for the sequel or I won't sign the contract to do the sequel |

It seems that the Rise of Cobra game share the same bad reputation as the movie. I've recently watched Breaking News, Weather, Business, Health, Entertainment, Sports, Politics, Travel, Science, Technology, Local, US & World News- msnbc.com, the site said that the game is 3 of 10. I also see the game's website. The funny thing is that Paramount says that GI Joe is a international team. But, if you see the game's GI Joe roster, it retains some of the original GI Joe ARAH elements. They have Beachhead, Shipwreck (plus Polly), Backblast, Sgt Flash, Gungho. All of them retains their ARAH characteristics. None of them is mentioned from other foreign nationalities. It's a good thing I hold myself from buying this game so I can aim for Hearts of Iron III.

Yea ROC wasn't perfect and I didn't expect it to be, shaky plot at times and stale acting at times and could've used more character development but by far wasn't terrible. I will say I'm hoping that the sequel when it does come around it will feature a new director to take it to another level.

i think you missed my point...no biggie...let me explain futher...
...the "lips" defenders (why there are any is beyond me, lol) justify the lips on RoC SE with the fact that ARAH SE had lip impressions in his mask (much more subtle)...my point is that the lips could be seen on the ARAH version because its cloth so no matter what, they will show thru...but on rubber or plastic or whatever the RoC mask is supposed to be made of (clearly not cloth) there would be no justification for lip impressions like there is with the cloth other than to make SE look hilariously retarded... seriously, i would LOVE to hear the reason from the designers mouth...really, i am very curious how after they saw the mask with them on their, they stood back, checked it out and said "oh yeah, fo sho, that totally says bad ass ninja right there, green light those lips!" Notice also that Snake Eyes has a moulded upper body and arms too - it's something about his look to have a fully moulded suit, and a blank face is less suited to this design. Why should Snake Eyes have a false face and a false body? Who knows, but it is internally consistent and happens to match the figure. |

I know for me, Sigma 6 and VvV, were just toylines, yes there was animated programs to help sell them, but toy lines none the less.
Gi. Joe the movie, was a much bigger deal, fans have been waiting 25 years for this, and a lot of them felt let down. They were just reporting on MSNBC how Twitter can actually hurt films because word of mouth moves so much quicker, they actually used ROC as an example. They claimed ROC's box-office was hurt b/c so many people were unhappy with it, and they, well, twitterd. Those people aren't your enemy, we are not your enemy. I love GI. joe since they first released the 3 3/4 figures, I just despised the movie. I don't go to the "loved the movie thread" b/c I didn't, and I know I can't change anyone's minds, and quite frankly I don't care what other people think. For that reason, I don't hear a lot of arguments for why it was a good film. The few I do hear are always the same- 1. "I liked it, but it could have been better." 2. "It was great seeing Gi. Joe on the big screen!" 3. "My kid loved it." Sorry, none of those work for me. |

Probably with the same superhuman skill he managed to get up from his cabin floor, close to fatally wounded, and enter an unseen hatch to avoid a bomb that Destro could only escape from at full pelt.... Or catching a thrown katana with both hands whilst standing behind both Scarlett and a FANG.... Or surviving a blast to his face, so bad that it scalded his larynx, yet didn't (as would happen in real life) cause fatal laryngeal oedema... (at least the vow of silence is more feasible) Let us at least apply the same rules equally and fairly. If we are going to criticise unlikely or impossible acts in the movies, lets also criticise the classic comics for equal episodes of unfeasibility... |

I actually thought it was terrible but suprisingly, not as terrible as I was expecting it to be.
I give it a 7/10 for some of the action scenes. |
