Hey guys? Better be careful. Since your thread doesn't bow down and worship and the mighty ROC, it's likely to get yanked or buried like my thread did that only pointed out D9 outperformed ROC last week at the box office (Thread title: District 9 on pace to dethrone ROC).
Seems if certain moderators don't agree with what you have to say? They have no problem denying you your freedom of speech and deleting what you have to say. With this step? Hisstank has officially become a hostile web-site which opposes the very concept that GI Joe has been sworn to defend. The irony is not lost on me. I strongly suspect that there will be a cracking down on threads that cast a critical eye on ROC. I urge all of you to carefully consider what sort of future lies ahead for you on this site if they show no remorse or rational reason for moving threads or deleting them other than the simple fact of they don't like what you have to say. Without opposing view points? Intelligent conversation has died and there is no real reason to post on here any more. As for me? I'm outta here. You can not win wars with mods and I have better things to do. I do offer this warning: Since I was a mod myself on a different web forum? Depending on the set-up? Mods and admins can sometimes view private messages between members, and Mods sometimes have the ability to view your computer's ISP number. Now I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want that information in the hands of someone who isn't above the tactics displayed on here. You can change your ISP sometimes by unplugging your modem for a few minutes in case you're interested. xhairs, Firefly and the rest? It's being cool knowing you guys. I'll drop you a PM with a junk e-mail in case you want to chat further. Cheers~! Last edited by xhairs; 08-21-2009 at 12:13 AM.. |

Tarzan or G.I. Joe?
Tarzan vs. Zartan - Stephen Sommers Personally, I can't imagine watching anything else with Sommers's name attached to it. |

I posted this in another thread but perhaps this was the place I should have posted it:
"After sitting on it for a week I'd have to say that this movie was not good. Poor CGI, poor acting, a convoluted storyline, Ripcord was horrible, I could go on.... Most of the reviews remind me of what people were saying when they first left The Phantom Menace: "Yeah, that was good", "Darth Maul was cool", and "can't wait to see it again". It was a strange feeling of "I have to like this, I waited 20 years for it!". Sound familiar? In the end, The Phantom Menace despite making buck went down in history as a very bad movie. When people's heads clear, the same will happen for Rise of Cobra. RS" |

Yeah, really bad CGI at times, the Apache and Blackhawk scenes were especially atrocious.

you wanna see bad CGI, look at the remake of star wars episode one. the Kenobi/Vader lite saber scene is still off. or compare it to some of the cgi in Spiderman, or Hulk. Point is CGI is not gonna look real becasue it isnt. So people are complaining about it as if it has to look like the actual actors or material. Just not gonna happen. SOme of the greates minds, like Lucas, dont do it perfect. Again just very nitpicky.
