CT: Yo son...the sequel is gonna be mad villainous
Reporter: Can you give us any hint as to what will happen between you and the Baroness?
CT: Check it, Sienna is a dime cousin and if she's gonna paint dat black suit on her curves again then I'm gonna be trying to get the skins GI Joe or not...nah I'm sayin
Reporter: No not really!

Yes, I could just hear the commentary:
"So this is the part where I was all like, y'know, 'what?', and then Destro was all like, 'dude!' and then I was all like 'Fo sho'."
Epic mind commentary, Channing. Well done, sir.

Just got done watching the movie for the first time. I thought it was a fun ride, but I agree Tatum is one of the worst actors(used loosely) of all time. He and Megan Fox need to star in a new romantic comedy titled simply "Love Yo What".

Channing's Duke was just one example of the many things wrong with this movie.
It just seems like no one involved in this movie gave a crap about the history of G.I.Joe.

I'm just glad it wasn't Ashton Kutcher as Duke. LOL. Channing Tatum was fine IMO; I thought he looked quite smexy wearing his leather jacket and shades brooding in the rain while on his bike during the funeral. LOL.

I enjoyed the movie. And while i liked certain actors better than some, i feel they all played their parts pretty good...

In theory I commend your efforts to boost the self-esteem of a company that has sunk millions of dollars into a franchise that it owns and has spent the last three decades pouring money into. However, that is not what I'm really addressing. I totally understand loyalty to a franchise that has been such a huge part of ones life. I ended up owning a large number of Star Wars prequel figures and DVDs every time George Lucas decided to crap all over his own invention. We've all grown up thinking these properties belong to us as fans and individuals and then hoist ourselve on our own petards when we end up hating the direction they take but still spend huge amounts of money supporting them. This movie was awful. If you thought it was great, then I whole-heartedly support you spending whatever number of dollars makes you comfortable and happy. However, those people who hated it and still managed to find themselves in line at Wal-Mart at midnight are the ones with which I'm taking issue. If so many hate how bastardized a franchise becomes but go out and spend mega bucks on supporting it in the hopes that it will one day start to go the way we individually want it to go, then we're pissing up a rope. I don't understand how we can hate something but spend money on it because we don't want it to go away in the hopes of it changing into what we really want it to be when we've just spent money on exactly what we have been given by the people we don't like for doing to it what we don't like and then finacially supporting everything they do? If that sentence doesn't make sense, it's because the notion I'm arguing against doesn't make any sense: it's intentional.
I love my 25th anniversay figures. I'm glad I was given the chance to buy them and support the version of G.I. Joe that exists in my head; the version of G.I. Joe I grew up with and wanted again. If the DVDs and action figures that are available make you happy, then buy away. But, don't assume you're making it any easier for you to get what you really want just because you spend money on what you're being offered and begrudgingly accept as an alternative. If everyone who loved Star Wars had stopped spending money on the franchise after Episode 1 came out would things have gone differently? Can't answer that, since I and everyone else kept buying the toys and tickets to watch the next abortion. SW is a brand, just like G.I. Joe. So, do yourself a favor and buy what you really like and not every piece of crap that has the label slapped on it. Don't catch up with the brand, let the brand catch up with you.
