The wife and I have to get a sitter if we want to go to the movies, so we are going to use the free Grandma option tomorrow and see it. If not for the whole sitter thing I might consider going twice.

Wow Syn, you dont want to see even one second of it? I still havent seen it so I have no basis, but just figured even if people could watch it streamed online they could atleast see it, say they gave it a try, saw it for free so didnt feel totally ripped off since no cash exchanged hands.

My buddies and I plan on recreating our youthful weekday afternoons by going to see GIJOE and then Transformers.

Just saw it this morning, and I enjoyed the hell out of it. There were goofy parts and groan-worthy parts and my common complaint of action movies like this -- please don't edit it on a small screen! It gets too confusing on the big screen! Please, set the camera back and let some of the action breathe -- in particular the fighting between Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow.
Still, it was not a major disappointment and my adrenaline was pumping throughout because the action never lets up! The flashbacks got a little ridiculous because everyone seemed to have one every other scene, but I enjoyed the hell out of the two kids beating the crap out of each other. That was an amazing scene. Anyway, won't see it again until it comes out on DVD.

i need to see it again to make sense of some of the fast transitions, flash backs and quick action. Even for an adult, i have to say it was pretty fast paced and kind of confusing.

Hell, if Sommers has a commentary it should be full of excuses and apologies.
