I have to say as a fan of the comics I really did not think the movie looked good. As the time approached my kids started really getting into it ages 5 and 2. My oldest said your old gijoes are boring dad when I gave some to him. As we walked thru target and found the roc figs he said those are awesome I want to get gijoes now dad instead of bakugan and transformers I was the happiest parent alive. After seeing the movie with my kids, with the youngest yelling cobraaa!!!! and the names of characters as they appeared on screen, with a tear in my eye and great pride I realized that hasbro at least knows how to market to their target audience. I think we as collectors fail to realize we do not buy the bulk of toys that are successful. I now do. I also really enjoyed the movie and felt the movie really caught the essence of joe with big mega battles in different locals and memorable characters. The changes to great stories and characters are not for the most part my favorite thing I do understand how this new gen. may not understand pyramid schemes and cults as well as mine since they are not as common today.

I enjoyed it and if I would have seen this movie in 1985 I would have enjoyed it 100 times over. It was a fun ride.

I did notice the extreme amount of head/eye shots in the movie. LOL

I think someone needs a carebear stare with all that hate and stuff upon death.. lol But yeah I think ROC rocked on. Going again to see it. I had a blast the first time with the details... they put a lot of them in there.... Wait... exploding heads and burning people isn't for kids.. yet... when we were growin' up we had games like Wolfenstien3D and Doom for headshots and stuff like that! Wolverine cutting into things with his claws in the old X-men... c'mon.... Bring it on!
