Yes, and in the Iron Man comics he's suit had rollerskates so he could charge his transitors. I'm sure Iron Man comic fans wanted to see that in the movie too.
Don't you guys have to put on the Freddy Kruger mask and fishbowl and get ready to go to the midnight showing? Don't worry, I won't ask for your ticket stubs. My Freddy Kruger mask is being freshened up and my fishbowl is being polished as we speak. Unfortunately I have to wait for the weekend to see the movie, gotta work. |

All of you guys that are arguing over this movie should just drink a bunch of water and vinegar and then insert your heads in a dirty orifice and clean it out. I you did this you could actually be what you are acting like.

Sure, we are arguing, but we're keeping it clean and it hasn't gotten personal. Don't like it? Don't read it. |

Damn, I knew I forgot to pick something up on the way home. Forgot my Battle Armor Cobra Commander outfit at the cleaners.

entertainment, escape...popcorn...lots of explosions, bad acting...not taking it's self seriously....
things used to describe waterworld, x-3, batman & robin, AvP, and transformers 2... films that are reviled for the most part...but for some reason...ROC is getting a pass...odd... in a age of the dark night, iron man, and wall-e...is it too much to ask for...good action, good acting, and good dialog?? the kids movie excuse doesn't fly...considering...how well movies like wall-e have appealed to all ages... hopefully, it will be as good as mummy...that's the bench for this film... the irony is mummy actually had...good action, good humor, good dialog, and pretty solid acting...and it introduced it to the enchanting awesomeness that is rachel weisz... p.s. patricia velasquez would have been an AWESOME baroness...

You know what your right. I'm not gonna read it and I'm definitely not gonna argue about it on the internet, because I am not a D-bag.

the cartoon also had some realism. all movies, cartoons, comics have some realism, it is a matter of where you expect it and how much weight you add to its importance. your friend expected realism with the accelerator suits in a G.I. Joe movie and obviously put a level of importance on it that it caused disappointment that the accelerator suits were not realistic. who can honestly say they are going to watch the accelerator suits with the hope for realism other than your friend? not many, that is why doing so hurts his credibility -- his perspective/interests/expectations simply aren't in line with most of the movie going audience for this movie, thus his review of it is irrelevant for them.
I'm not sure what is flawed about such a criticism. so just cuse he said it was unreal dosent mean anything it didnt like the flick and pointed out why. your going to post what you liked about it and it wont go with all the movie goers either. Quote:

interesting to see all the pro-RoC fans come out of the wood work to say this negative review holds no credibility for so and so reason...lol...
...just like i have a hard time believing the positive reviews because they seem to be biased due to personal gain...i will not explain that BTW...if you can't figure it out, oh well... Quote:

Actually, preconception is a valid reason to discount a review, for both directions.
For example, if Xhairs (no offense, just picking one of the anti-RoCers at random) comes out and says he hated the movie. Does his review really matter to anyone because we all know how he feels about the movie. And conversely, if I come out and say I loved the movie, again, does it really matter, because we all know how I feel (that I think I'll like it). The only reviews that really matter are from someone that started out not liking the idea of the movie and comes out loving it, and the opposite of that, someone that liked the idea of the movie and comes out hating it. Goldface's thoughts, don't matter. We already know how vehemently opposed to the movie he is. Now if he (or Xhairs) comes out and says they ended up loving it. That carries alot of weight. More so then like if I come out and say I loved it. But if they come out and say they hated it, who cares because they went into it hating it. If someone goes into it open-minded (which the majority of the people here, including myself, will be doing) then there's no preconception (good or bad) and those reviews can have some weight to them. Notice, I never came out against XHairs friend's review. I gave it as much weight as I gave one of the postive ones earlier. I don't know his friend, or the stay of mind when he went into it. Pretty sure he had negative preconceptions from what he wrote, but I don't go off one "post" to determine someone's state of preconception. So to sum it up, yeah, preconception of the movie carries alot of weight. Already know that XHairs and Goldface will go into it from the "I don't like it" view, and if you start off at that level, it takes an awful lot to raise it up to "okay". Again, no offense to anyone that I named, but figured it would be easier to use examples. Quote:

VvV had a cartoon movie ST had a catoon movie the 80s had a cartoon movie and this is a S6 movie with also had a cartoon. so out of all that you said 2 are getting live action movies. now i would of rather had the movie done kind of like Resolute. man a special missions movie would of been cool. in the comics there was more realism then in roc i think lol that is yet to be seen by me. from what my bud said the cartoon might have more lol. |

unfortunately, your posts say otherwise. wanna call people out, don't behave in the same way you are attempting to criticize.
