More and more I read how people...like...figures like any of the movie "vipers" or "Anikrang FriedDoctor" aka Cobra Commander. I'm sorry, I realize that different people like different things but my God! How could anyone be so hot for the crap stains on crap stains. I know, opinions and what not, but I just can't wrap my brain around this affinity towards abominations. I don't mean to stir a hornets nest, but I just want to know if anyone else has the same affliction as I?

lol, you die hards never cease to amaze me with your inability to let go of something you have no control over. I’m sure there was a bunch like you when they went from 12" to 3 3/4" back in the day cryn and getting worked up on how the Joe’s changed. Well after meeting and talkin wit the design crew at this sdcc I can tell you change is good and different ideas and designs are needed and despite what yur inclined to think Hasbro and its design crew DO know what they are doin, keeping things fresh and unstale. Live wit it or get off the boat cause no amount of crying is gonna change anything. To hell wit the old show me something different so that I can have some new flavor for god sake, stick that in your pipe and smoke it!

I have to agree with Darth Adder, I am not a big fan of the ROC line. I have no idea why CC looks like hamburger face under a clear face shield? I am starting to believe the only way this move should have been done was animation. and no Cobra-La. that was just stupid. maybe something like Resolute, the characters looked more like the 80's versions, slight changes, but not like complete new characters. I mean really if you were to just look at that figure what is the first thing that comes to mind, I know Cobra Commander. I mean really?

Welcome to the future. The next wave of Joe's will be equipped cell phones and IPods, while being endorsed by Starbucks. Seriously though, I prefer a more raw militay feel rather then this body armor wearing, guns-that-peek-around-corners, big-ass rocket launcher having wussies. Dutch and his crew of Predator hunting bad asses could wipe out Duke and his merry friends of Robo-cop wannabes. Booya. Oh, I still buy alot of ROC figures.

I don't quite get the connection between the ROC Vipers and Star Wars. I'm primarily a Star Wars collector and don't see how these would fit into the SW universe at all. And for the record, I think the designs of the Vipers is exceedingly boring and doesn't really fit into the Joe universe either. These are of course, just my opinions and not "facts" and I've expressed them accordingly.
