And you've seen the same 8 minutes and come to the conclusion that this movie will be cool.
I saw the clip. It was interesting and the Joes were doing things Joes don't do. I didn't know Snake Eyes was a genetically enhance human being. Or that he some where along the lines acquired super powers. The Arashikage Mindset? The Phoenix trance? Basically cake-walked through hundreds of Night Creepers without getting a scratch to get face-to-face with COBRA Commander? Had his face burned off a half dozen times, yet keeps coming back for more? Hell in Devils' Due the dude freaking DIED, then got sick of being dead and came back for the hell of it. He's like Chuck Norris. From day one, Larry Hama has written Snake Eyes as a pseudo-super hero, and this is absolutely NO different. At least not in my book. Justin |

And again I find myself having to ask someone why they consider 'hatred' and 'dismissal' to be on a par with and somehow as worthy as 'optimism' and 'excitement'. If that belief is so widespread, no wonder the world is in such a state...

I dont even bother reading other users negative comments about the movie anymore, there isnt any one person in these boards that will make it through the year without spending money on something ROC related weather its seeing the movie or buying a ROC carded figure.
One funny part that made me chuckle was when Heavy Duty is explaining how the suit works he says something along the lines of them being able to access information by thinking about a subject and if you look at ripcords visor a bunch of pics of scarlett come up... After seeing this whole thing Im stoked for even more snake-eyes! Last edited by Gerrorism!; 07-26-2009 at 11:30 AM.. |

Discussion/Debate = Yes!
Bashing/Arguing over a cartoon made in to a movie = ? Not so much As for the "Defense Lawyer" commentary from earlier.. lol. Not me. I'm just another fan who enjoys this hobby and is excited to see something new happen instead of the same ole same ole. Change is not always good...but it's a part of life. This movie may be the worst thing ever. I just don't know though. |
