This is the best read I have had on the "reviews" of this movie. C.I.A.D. you sound like Hasbro or Sommers defense attorney. It's great. LOL ;P

There are also those here who just want to trip on Joe, and come at it with a slightly healthier outlook. They take or leave what they want without laying years of sad obsessive expectations on it. Dude, it's just army toys. Love it, leave it - whatever. But try to accept what is and enjoy it....or move on. Seriously.

All of that was like way too freaking long they said this scene does not take up a lot of the film? Arggh it would be fine if they got rid of the accelerator suits and just showed SE, wtf does he not need an accelerator suit?? And even with them Duke and Wayanes can't keep up with him...blah...
Best freaking part though was Wayanes getting smashed by that car after falling out of the van...to bad that was not a fatality and he could be set to dust in a military funeral....but does not deserve a 21 gun salute...I hated the way he took off like a frog and bounced through the tree like that, that looked beyond rediculous!

No...that's not a 'universal' truth either. There are indeed people here who feel the need to rant about and behave like basement dwelling social misfires. Not all though. Sadly, those people don't seem to ever leave their computers and are here 24/7 spewing senseless bile all over the place (we get it: you hate the movie, want more classic styles...).

Klinton you are typing words into my mouth. I never said it was a universal truth but you are making it one now. You do see the joke in that I hope. C.I.A.D. asked for a list and I gave one made up of complaints that many folks on the forum have made. My only personal grumble is less tech and more skilled joes. By the way I'm typing jokes into comments cause I'm not taking any of this seriously. This is a forum on comics and toys not the U.N. relief forum on child hunger. We are sharing opinions not facts. There never will be a right answer. This is for fun.

You know, I've been down this road before with Transformers and the messageboards there. Its the same argument, except I am on opposites sides here. For me, this still looks and feels like GIJOE with a very similar story, and similar motivations. But for Transformers, I literally cant stand those movies and the story line was one of the things Ive ever seen.
What I can say however, is that this "debate" might be fun but it sure the hell aint gonna change anyone's mind. I have yet to see, anyone say "you know what, you're right." on a messageboard about a movie. But after everyone watches it, surprisingly the debate dies down after a week or two, its all over and everyone just retreats to their camps...until the sequel. Also that 4 minutes was a good time, it felt like Commando in the eighties, over the top and ridiculous, but a helluva lot of fun. Snakeeyes was a badass there nuff said.
