Thank God they stopped the 25th stuff. And that’s coming from ARAH collector

Yes. The 25th was good for the Joe resurrection. And I say good, not great, because there definitely were some duds. We all went after them because that's all we had at the time. But POC, 30th, Renegades, Ultimates, 50th, those really set the bar higher than what we previously had.

Actually it's because you can't rebut anything that I said.

No, i'd rather not waste my time discussing the future of a franchise that you would be happy to let die when the older fans are gone. |

I think in many ways, GI Joe would have hit where Transformers is now. It was already getting there. 1984 again. AND AGAIN. AND AGAIN FOR THE THIRD TIME. YOU NEED THE 50TH OPTIMUS PRIME AND MEGATRON, DON'T YOU? It's barely different, but you need it right? Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes were already there. I was sick of seeing them and all I wanted was Ninja Force Snake Eyes, then I never would have wanted to see them ever again. Don't get me wrong, I love Sunbow GI Joe, I unironically adore that cartoon. Have since I first saw it in the early 2000s. I just think that I want new takes and costumes rather than stuff I already have but better or bigger. Honestly? I like Classified Destro, but he's by far the least interesting one to me. I would have liked some design cues from 88 and 92 Destro. Something to give him a uniqueness and not just 'Blown up Ultimate Destro', which he really feels like. I don't think he's a dud, just boring. Not much you can do with Snake Eyes, so he gets a pass. I actually love the other three including the gold. |

I'm probably much older than you, but much younger than most of the guys here. Ninja Force / Street Fighter II / Star Brigade was my GI Joe as a kid, then I lost interest till I rediscovered GI Joe about your age through Transformers. While I appreciate Sunbow a lot and love having the characters from it, I can relate. Part of what I liked about things like RoC Flash and the new 6 inch line is that they are new takes. Familiar, but present something new. RoC 'Yakuza Storm Shadow' is much the same. That's really cool. There are a bunch of figures that are really good new interpretations of the characters.

I do like the ARAH Marvel comics, but I honestly enjoyed the late 80s and early 90s issues moreso than the early 80s ones that Hasbro seems preoccupied with.
