No. Don't get me wrong, I think Stuart Beattie is the first man to ever realize the potential of actually including such rooted characters - but in the end, they still haven't maximized the potential. I still love the screenplay.

Actually I heard that do to negative reactions to the deaths in last years "The Transformers" movie they are going to edit out all instances of characters getting killed in the GI Joe movie. The exception will be Duke who while originally scripted to die will merely be rendered comatose and will awaken at the end of the movie...
