I don't really get bent out of shape when someone rifles through the pegs while I am. If they invade my space that's a completely different animal, but as long as he's on one side and not in my face, it's cool, i've been there. Though I always try to be there first to avoid that mess.

I think I would have said it. He should have at least said "excuse me" himself.
The only real problem I have with other toy collectors/geeks is the lack of social skills/manners. I don't mean to generalize, certainly, but there definitely seems to be a significant percentage of jerks that give the hobby a bad name. |

The line is cool period that is why I bought them. You guys say we have not had anything in a while and that is why we are buying them. That is bullshit the latest wave of vehicles came out a couple weeks ago and today BBTS has just listed the Cobra Island 7 packs.

Dude the reason is so becuase they are just a NEW thing to buy. The whole -I gotta have'em before anyone else eventhough most of them suck so if there were anything cooler to get i wouldn't even being paying attention to these-is in FULL effect. Makes me kinda sic to think I have to deal with these type of guys all over again...damn you Hasbro.

Honestly we all know this collecting thing is like a drug when it gets ahold of you. So think about it. What else in that Target aisle is the "adult" collector looking at? Star Wars? Shh barely, I would say only the most hardcore are still holding down the star wars section. Transformers? Please I never see any dude, beside a dad/mom complaining to thier kids that they are already got too many transformers, in that section. Marvel UNiverse? Okay before the ROC line this was the only line that I would see the "lunchbreak" guys and the fast walkers attracted to. The DC Universe stock up so rarely and sell out so quickly I don't even have time to see anyone around for those figures. Anything I miss? SO what does that leave all those collectors to fill that "need"? ROC that's it and thats my opinion as to why eventhough like 70% of fans complained about how crappy the ROC line was, have mostly turned around and now have thier arms full of it acting rude. Its a drug haha.

Why is it so hard to except that some people just find the line to be cool and that's why they're getting it. Could have cared less if there was new stuff on the shelves or not. That never factors into why I buy things.
I mean, seriously, if that's the reason you're buying the stuff, because it's new Joes on the shelves after months without, you should probably seek professional help cause that just hints at there being some psychological issues. Buy it because you like it, not because it's new.

I know for me, it's not just cuz they're new...if that was the case, I'd have Breaker, green camo Heavy Duty, BBQ, Firefly and Desert Camo Duke by now

Scarlett in the blue camo has to be the ugliest figure IMO. Jeez she looks like a dude and her expression is one of sheer boredom or something. The Breaker is just boring as a figure. And Cover Girl I swear look like Jessica Simpson so much so that I couldn't take her serious and I left her on the pegs eventhough I know they prob won't make another Cover Girl for another 25 years.

Shogi there are always exceptions to the "rule". For every one of you that chose correctly and passed on heavy duty, firefly, etc. there are 5 other guys who picked them up for the exact reasons I posted above.
