Cool. I'm glad to see that these products are indeed filling a void and bringing positive results to some degree amongst our collector demographic.
I have a question on the Snake Eyes figs..are the visors different between reg & Paris Pursuit? Are they...gasp..removable? The Nightraven pilot looks insanely slick....as awesome as the actual vehicle is too! |

I got sucked into buying more than I thought I would, and plan on buying more. The Night Raven is surprisingly good - I guess since I never had a classic, I don't need to compare it. The missile launchers are tasteful, and handle/trigger folds up nicely. I will save some money by not buying one to keep MOC like I did for all the 25th series, but I may likely buy one of everything.

I never was a hater but my budget and space constraints are keeping me from getting what I want. I Saw alot of ROC figures and vehicles over the weekend but only got the steel crusher. Couldnt bring myself to get the smaller vehicles at 16.99. I like the classic ferret better than the ROC version too.

I didn't like the figures before and for the most part I still don't like them now because they just don't seem "G.I. Joe" enough to me. What I do like about them NOW that I have seen them in hand is that they are Extremely quality figures. The paint jobs, articulation, and accessories are excellent(except the mandatory spring loaded weapon "for the kids"). I did not expect such quality due to the fact Hasbro rarely showed such quality in its figures for the 25th line. I mean ROC Baroness is a shining example of Hasbro getting a figure right IMO. Hasbro really.really loves ROC. With that said I picked up a SE,SS,Destro, and in hand the Neo-Vipers masks look pretty cool so I got one and a Neo-Viper Commando. Still not sure about the vehicles though...while the Steel Crusher looked sweet the driver is horrible. His face shield is bigger than the helmet haha.

I'm glad to see such a positive response. From a personal perspective, to me, it's ALWAYS about the toys, and the toys have looked really, really good, so whether the movie is any good or not is at least somewhat irrelevant to me.
I mean there are plenty of Joe fans who cannot stand the Sunbow cartoons, yet manage to absolutely love the vintage toyline, so why would this be any different? I swore off buying the vehicles for this line myself, but recent pictures have swung me...I've already ordered the Steel Crusher and Gunship online and even The Pit is drawing me to it. Justin |
