The displays in my area seem untouched today. There is plenty of figs that nobody is interested in.

Anybody talking about "pegwarming" at this point is seriously jumping the gun.
Figures don't "pegwarm" after being out for a week, much less a day or two. Further, at this point the only people really paying attention to the line are collectors. The real test of this line and the demand for it will be AFTER the movie actually, y'know...comes out. The 2007 Transformers Movie toys didn't sell out instantly...they disappeared once the movie hit and became the highest selling toys of the year. Not saying that's what'll happen with the RoC toys, but trying to gauge the line's overall success on 2-days to a week's worth of sales prior to the movie release is more than a little premature. Let's also not forget that these are being produced in vastly higher numbers than the 25A/ME line was. |

I've had the chance to hit up LOTS of stores recently. I have seen that in a few stores it looks like no one is interested. Mostly stores though have had their selections pretty well picked through.

It's interesting to me that (in my area at least) there are some stores that seem to sell through Joe stuff like mad, but just a few miles away another store seems to have pegwarmers galore and stuff is easy to find. Not just talking RoC, but the G.I. Joe brand as a whole.

I've heard reports of some Targets getting up to 200 figures. I think even collectors/scalpers are going to have a hard time picking through that entire bit. If nothing else their wallets probably will limit them....

That's crazy, all the targets here got 3-4 cases, usually of 2 assortments.
After the reset yesterday they had no more cases in the stockroom.
