hmmm... I saw this yesterday at TRU. I already had a bunch of $$$ worth of stuff in my hands, but when I saw the price tag I did a big, "NO thanks, not today."
However, after seeing what it's got, all the cool little details.... I kind of like it. It reminds me of the 2nd headquarters playset, the one that was re-issued in Spy Troops I think. I will certainly look again and decide. Maybe if I can get a % off coupon, and or a sale, I'll grab one then! Thanks for the very in depth look at this interesting new offering. |

I don't have room for one, I don't have the cash for one, therefore I will not be getting one. Now if that baby comes down to 75.00 or even 50.00, I may try to get one. But for now I will let the collectors and kiddo's drool over this one!! I have a FLAGG!!

As for the pit, for me it all depends on what happens employment wise for myself and my fiancee in the next month, and what I decide to do to display my Joes. I may just not have the room for it. |

I like the size and some of the features, but it still looks like an overpriced piece of FAIL to me. Will pass.

i was leery at first but after seeing it up close I want it. its a good deal for a lot of us that don't own a flagg, defiant, or hq. now if I can only convince my fiancee its a 100.00 purchase that will improve our relationship.

Very clever how they made the set of four lockers open all at once. Now THAT is attention to detail right there. You think there are four seperate lockers then BAM... it's just one.
Also I like how they accurately portrayed the Joes as filthy slackers, because they put the detail of sand, grime or moss directly onto all the floors! The cardboard accessories... hmm. I watched Speed Racer last night. Well, I watched the first 45 minutes of it, and I will say this new toy is better than the movie Speed Racer, at least I can say that. When the BMF came out I was hungry for it, I saved pics of it and waited to find one. It's crazy cool and I was so lucky that by the time I got mine they were on clearance for under $50. I would have gladly paid full price for it though. The BMF will be ADORED for generations to come, I'm certain of that. I don't think it will be topped for another 20 years. Matched, perhaps, but not bested. This thing, I can't imagine paying more than $15 just to gut it for parts. I'm not saying they should have done better I really think they just shouldn't have tried unless they were ready to make something great. And that's from a business perspective. I don't want them to lose money or be a laughing stock over things like this. A gangbusters showpiece could really cement the brand and draw in new fans.... It would be a win win. If they really put there heart into something close to as good as the BMF. If it sold well, profit. Even if it just made its production cost back if it were that good it would bring in throngs of new fans, featured and raved about in magazines for years etc. etc.
