Will Toys R Us have ROC toys out on the 4th

Will Toys R Us have ROC toys out on the 4th? I have heard so many comments for the last few days that they will, yet I have also heard they may have them on the 10th and even a few who are saying they won't put them out until the front end displays go up on the 21st of the month. Uhggg...

There are way to many voices and no confirmations, so if any one can help with this info please share.

I am half tempted to believe they will not be out on retail shelves for sure until the 10th. That is after all what the cases say.

called my local TRU store today and they told me they would not have them until the 10th.

That is what I am hearing too. Yet there are reports that they are releasing them on the 4th.

If it's convenient, make a quick stop at your local TRU tomorrow morning. Might want to check Target on Sunday, too. There's enough reports in either direction that there just might be something to the "this weekend" rumors.

If it's not convenient to get to any of those places...I'd suggest just waiting till next weekend. I suspect these will be stocked in good quantities and shouldn't be too hard to find.

I can't see TRU putting out anything new for a Saturday (with shorter hours no less) instead of their normal Sunday-Saturday sale weeks. I know they did this on a Friday night when the Clone Wars launched but they publicized that midnight opening and haven't done anything about this.

I am not expecting them to put out the ROC tomorrow (at least not in a big display) but maybe on Sunday or Monday in the regular GI Joe aisle. I expect a full display in the front of the store when the movie hits (like the Transformers are now).

Samantha, I called last week and they told me they were getting the toys out a week before the movie. Now today after a short work day, I asked in the store itself, and after some very loud walkie talkie conversation, I got names of people and they said they WILL be released on the 4th there. For anyone interested, it's the one on route 1 in Lawrenceville, NJ.

That being said, me first, and all I want are 1 or 2 Steel Crusher's and maybe a fig or 2!

I went to TRU today and talked to one of the more helpful employees and she said she couldn't really tell from the computer but assumed it would be the sixth since the Night Raven ships on that date from the website.

I'm gonna go anyway, but I doubt they have anything out.

Target did put out some ROC single cards, though. I got the Deep Six I wanted, that does NOT have a GIJOE symbol on him that I could find so with a COBRA sticker he'll make an excellent COBRA Diver.

They had Zartan, Sgt. Stone, Cover Girl (who looks like a cavewoman), a Neo-Viper Commando or something like that, Shipwreck, Ripcord and Heavy Duty. No Destros, Baronesses (the only other single card I want), Snake Eyes, Dukes or Storm Shadows.

I'm more excited about the vehicles, tell you the truth. Which they didn't have.

That makes me feel better that the main charecters are going quick and the ones list above are easier to find.

Just wanna put my 2cents in..

I've been on the hunt this weekend.. mainly for Transformers actually.. but I've been to big lots, three Targets, and Two Wal-Marts.. Plan on hitting TRU Tomorrow..

So far I haven't seen any Joe stuff at Big Lots, but they do have lots of Indy stuff.

I haven't seen any of the Joe Movie stuff at Wal-Mart.. BUT... Target DOES Have the Joe Vehicles out.. I saw a Night Raven.. and a Gun Ship.. and the Hummer Thing.. between The Three Targets.

Did Not see ANY Single pack figs or I would have grabbed some.

So Target IS Putting stuff out.

If anybody out there finds a Movie Jet Fire Leader class figure.. I am on the hunt for one.
