Green Berets with John Wayne. The big battle at the base and then the mission to get the NVA colonel always felt like they could have been part of a backstory for the Vietnam vet Joes.

Just watched “Kill Command” on Netflix. It’s not a great classic of Western cinema, but it was actually much, much better than I expected. Futuristic cyborg soldiers fight autonomous murder robots. It gets a LOT of mileage out of what sounds like a very limited premise and I was impressed.

Fate of the Furious( really 6 and 7 too) they use the same type of fast attack vehicle as Retaliation and they attack the cargo plane with CLAWs.
Geostorm barely, but it is the weather dominator concept. Going to go ahead and say Rampage. The A10 cruising through a city shooting up stuff and giant animals screams ARAH. |

The Losers is a comic based movie so it does have a very Joe feel to it

This film is at the very least "inspired by" the Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow plots... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ninja_(film)

/Salute this thread! An interesting idea would be to make a playlist and have a loose chronological order of watching and mentally rename characters to create an ad hoc serial.
