Gen. Hawk in the movie trailer is asked who they were, he said, "I didn't".
The fact that the camoflage pattern says G.I. Joe is ridiculous as it is supposed to be a top-secret hush/hush elite organization of the best of the best within the military proves the point. Why announce who they are with the special designer camoflage fatigues and blow their cover?

Huh? I haven't seen "G.I. Joe" written on anything. I've seen the shield, but that in itself doesn't say anything.
What's the big deal about the camo pattern? What about the camo pattern has G.I. Joe written on it? I'm confused by the point of this.

It's written all over the fatigues, quite literally, actually:

All of the original vehicles had G.I.JOE stamped all over them. Even in bright unsubdued colors. Does this make the toy line, which everything else is based on, hypocrisy?

Of course, we haven't yet seen a single instance of the Joes wearing that camouflage pattern anywhere except "on base."
It looks like they wear the reactive armor "in the field" which makes the "G.I. Joe Camo" still undercover...if exceedingly silly. |
