I want them to be American Force. Reason I liked them in the first place. I loved US Army stuff when I was a kid. Still do. When we were kids it was Pro American..in the 80's. Recently it's not that way anymore...Too much PC. It's very upsetting they are no longer considered an American force. Like it's is a BAD thing to be American....ugh

Speak for yourself - I was born here, and I'm pretty sure Ireland isn't keeping an apartment ready for me if this whole 'America' experiement doesn't pan out. ; D Tom

Please stop talking. The amount of insider information that you have is exactly zero.
Know how I know this? Because you posted a declassified flyer which was meant for fun as a NEWS ITEM. No one would ever tell you anything because the VERY FIRST THING you would do is post it here. Probably incorrectly. |

Well no, we're a country. When people from other countries who live in other countries work together, that's an international force. Making an action figure franchise international would probably gain a bit more acceptance for the franchise. I didn't say that because people in our country are of different nationalities that our US army should be called an International force. What's the big issue any way? So what; a toy company wanted to make their action figures appeal to children from other countries. That's not selling out, it's caring for all the consumers. I love the USA just as much as anyone else but I have no issue with a toy line making their product more wide ranged. It doesn't mean there aren't Americans on the team. It means there's people from other countries on one military force. What's so bad about that?

They don't care about the consumers! They just want more money. I can agree with them on that. I just don't like my American Icon being stripped from me. Maybe we should ask the Chinese guys that are ripping off toys and selling them to Americans if they mind that the G.I. Joe is a real American hero?

^I don't feel that they do. They only care about money. Why do you think they would put a figure thats not single carded in with a bunch of repaints in a dvd battle pack? Or why do you think they put a figure thats not single carded in a comic pack or sro pack? The answer is money! They know us Joe collectors will bite the bullet and buy a comic pack, sro pack, or dvd battle pack, just to get 1 figure...

I will see the movie as well. I just think it is stupid to change something like the main focus of the marketing just to make selling tickets better! People in Australia would have went or not went just the same, regardless if we used the 25 year old REAL AMERICAN HERO slogan! I just don't agree with it.
