While I agree with the thought, it's always "just another dollar."
Anyway, just cause they're in the system doesn't mean they're at the stores... or that they'll sell them. |

7.99 with my sales tax is 8.65
9.99 with my sales tax is 10.81 Bob Barker price difference of......$2.16 per figure Lets take a wave 11 assroemnt box of 8 figures At ROC prices that is $86.51 At 7.99 that comes out too $69.19 Difference of...$17.32... More than just $1 per figure. If your buying 1 figure and that i all in a given day it makes sense that your just paying a little more, but when you flying all over the metroplex and buying multiples, sometimes just singles here and there at different tax rates accross your counties, that shit adds up quick! Why i quit shopping reteal unless I am there for other reasons ad happen to see something useful... |

Look, maybe I live in that one pocket of reality where Wal-Mart does order and get product (maybe it's because there's no Target or TRU for over 35 miles). but My Wal-Mart has been good about getting Joes, Sure at present they're almost sold out (but that's the case at most retailers because of SUMMER'S REMOD). And I'm not trying to sound like a jerk, I'm just sick of the I hate the movie because of.......(insert reason here). Look at it lke this, The movie is a vehicle to bring the brand back to mainstream, Joe sales have been weak since the end of the COLD WAR! It's Joe's 45th Birthday, the brand needed the shot in the arm, and the movie will do just that! Prices rise, it's a part of a bigger problem, the economy as a whole is out of whack! I'm paying over $1000.00 a month on my House, when before Katrina I would have been paying $500.00 for the same property, so I feel the crunch of the economy every day! But Cost is cost, Many of us won't buy everything, and that's fine, I plan on buying most of the 3&3/4 collection, but that's just me, The brand has changes many times over the years, I hated EXTREME, and The Screaming Eagles, but some liked it, I loved the 2.5 vehicles for Sigma 6 and the ammo crates, but not so much the figures (because they looked like Small Soldiers the movie rejects). SO to each his or her own!

So are people actually finding these in stores now, or is this just getting the info out?

Ya know maybe they are putting them at higher prices so the collectors, modders and army buidlers will think a little more before spending that much on them and giving little timmy and his war hating mom a chance to decide if they want to buy food this week or joes. I know it has curtailed my future plans that coupled with the awful color schemes, I do not need 1000 accelator suit people or 1000 people in blue, white black camo, I am not building a UN army LOL.
Yes it is hard economic times, but product that will not move off the shelves will result in way more costs for the maker company. They need to be making smrt decsions and this line and the movie unforutnaltey at this time were not smrt in my opinion especially on the heels of TF2 and the lackluster attempt with the movie. My socks are still firmly attached to my feet, still waiting for them to be blown off and waiting to exhal when the movie passes. I hope ARAH survives through Resolute of 2010+ will be boring up till the end of the world in 2012... |

So what does this mean? Are they out yet or not. Kindly clarify what the hell does any of this mean. I don't care that they are $8.00 each. I just want as many of the Snake Eyes as I can get!

I guess from what i gather is this. Some stores might have them in the back and are techincally not supossed to sell them yet. But just like the first wave of Target exclusive vehicles, you might be able to persuade an employee to snag you some in back, again if they have them...That is what i have gathered from all of this...

I don't see what the big difference of paying 9.00 when most of us have already been paying 8.00 for single figures anyway. It is an extra dollar. The way i see it is if you don't want it, don't buy it. Just remember though, if you don't buy it, someone else probably will...
