Also saw the new Trek in IMAX, twice at the Regal Stonecrest-
No Joe trailer. Afraid the manager confirmed this as well, I asked. "No, sorry. No Joe trailer in IMAX but we can let you see the standard version if you would like." The ball is in your court. |

A friend of mine who knows somebody whose brother saw the trailer said that the entire theater stood up and cheered at the G.I. Joe Trailer, and then broke into a full-fledged musical number set to a medley of the Sunbow and DIC cartoon theme songs. People dressed in black and white ninja costumes came out of nowhere and were flipping out and killing people all over the place.

Saw Star Trek last night, saw Year One, Land of the Lost, Night at the Museum, Transformers and GI Joe in that order. Only a handful of people in the theatre, but they were pretty much silent throughout the trailers.
I agree the trailer seemed better spaced out in the theatre, like the clips lasted longer and the cuts between scenes were slower. |
