Hell, do webisodes and involve the real Us armed forces and invoke the Wounded Warrior project and also educate the public about the military--focus on one arm of the forces and highlight the men and women serving.

Retaliation was closer in storyline than ROC to the original Marvel run. I liked it.
I hope they keep going with it. |

How about an all female team. Only 12in figures. Oh and they could rename it. How about barbie. Yeah that's the ticket! I could see entire isles dedicated to it.

The Rise of Cobra was a lot more faithful to Joe lore than a lot of farty fanboys want to recognize:
*You had The Pit *A "Jinx" cameo *Snake Eyes, Scarlett, Breaker, and Ripcord were off to the Arctic, much like in the 2nd issue of ARAH, wherein it was Stalker instead of Ripcord. *Cobra - as in the earliest comics - relied on superior air power And it was AN ORIGIN STORY - which was hyped as an origin of Cobra. The Marvel stories were too plodding, and Hama took all of his cues from the Mae Brussell school of conspiracies: white resistance, right-wing militia, the Patty Hearst/SLA debacle...no one wants to see that crap on screen...especially in a G.I. Joe feature film. |

GI Joe needs a cartoon. A good carton. Like many have said , I agree, in the same vein as : Clone Wars , Young Justice, and Batman: TAS would rule!
Get the kids exposed to Joe via an engaging and well written cartoon would instantly lead to bigger better toy sales---as long as the toys can be found. That is key!! Then the third movie could be a combo of ROC and RET plus the toon. |
