I'm really hoping they don't show up here until late June/early July. I gotta save some money! lol

I found the Indy figures about 3 months early at my local wal-mart. Tons of them.
They were set up in a separate Indy themed kiosk and the toy aisle wasn't even done being re-planogramed for the movie stuff. So, I can believe seeing these early. |

sorry, slowrey, but even though I know Wallies screws up someetimes, I'm still not going to believe it. Too much doesn't add up.
1) Unloaders don't stock unless they're done unloading the trucks, and even then, they're told what departments they're needed in (thank god I was an unloader before I went to maintenance). 2) Like Jeffrozup said, it should have come up " sell not allowed". The only way to get it to say gijoe figure is to have someone at a register key in the sale, and you were at a self checkout. 3) Anyone who works in the toy department SHOULD know to look at the boxes (and I know, not every one does), and if it has a street date on it, they usually won't put it out until that date (like happened here with the marvel universe figs), though the cases WILL be on the pallets. 4) Don't know about anyplace else, but the figures are still just under $7 here. 5) We're on the FRIGGIN east coast. We won't see the thing until at LEAST May.

Also, Walmarts computer system doesn't allow for items with certain street dates to be purchased until that time. They are controlled from Arkansas and last summer I found a bunch of the Clone Wars figures 3 weeks before the July 17th (I think) date and they rang up "sell not allowed" on the registers.
Also interesting that Walmart reciepts usually say which specific figure was purchased (for example "Omega Cobra Commander" for the resolute line) where this just says GI Joe figure as the purchase item. There is a lot of things that don't add up about this right now. I would have definitely snapped a picture of those figures on the pegs with the price sticker there because there have been several photoshopped receipts in the past posted on here.
