I think if the movie scores northward of the $200 million mark, a sequel is inevitable.
If it can copy the success of Transformers, we're looking at a movie franchise. |

Its not only how much money they rake it is also if they can leave an open plot to make a sequel as well.
So a good chunk of money and a great open ending to leave it as nothing too cliche. |

It's sounding more likely that the Hulk will be a guest-star in Avengers before they start seriously talking about any sequels for him. It's kind of telling that he hasn't shown up amidst all the talk Marvel Studios has been throwing around about their upcoming schedule of releases.
The Norton Jr. Reboot was only marginally more financially successful than the Ang Lee version, and reportedly Ed Norton Jr. wasn't particularly happy with the studio or the finished product, so he's probably not coming back. The next Hulk movie may practically end up being a "threeboot." |

we'll see.
i know they got them all lined up...although, i think they pushed one back a bit, if i'm not mistaken. that's kind of what you get with an 'ed norton.' a good actor, no doubt. but isn't he one of those that kind of really takes himself seriously? i mean, you should always be professional...don't get me wrong...but you're playing the part of a guy who morphs into a big green monster. you're not getting an oscar for this. i thought i read something that either the hulk would show up in Iron Man II or Iron Man in Hulk II. not sure. any of you heard this? and shouldn't we get back to gi joe?

I really want the movie to do well. I want it to become mainstream and i want the kids to grab a hold of it.
In order for GI Joe to survive the ages, it must be embraced by the children of today.

I remember reading a interview with Quaid and he said he signed a three picture deal. I think a sequel is a no-brainer unless it bombs big time.

400 million + will guarentee it(if the filmmakers want another one)...
But Stephen Sommers isnt big on sequels, so there might not be a second movie. |
