Now I think Destro should always have had a Doctor Doom style mask, similar to the old story The Man in the Iron Mask (which is where the mask of shame for Clan Destro got it's inspiration). But Joe-lore is that Destro's mask moves. Kind of funny. People complain about the changes from "canon" that they've made in the movie, but when they don't change something people still complain.

True, but the difference is that Destro never had an expressionless mask in any media he's appeared in. Cartoon was obviously more express then the comic, but the comic was more expressive then the standard Doctor Doom kind.

In all my years I've heard the word "negotiations" applied to a great number of things, from trading Garbage Pail Kids to ending the Cold War........but NEVER such as THIS!!

It's kind of hard to pull across in comics, but it was never a Doctor Doom-level expressionless mask.

Actually, when Destro first appeared in the Marvel comics, his mask was based on the action figure, and was expressionless. But by 1984 (the specific scene I remember is when the Baroness returns to the COBRA lair post-facelift and he's thought she was dead) he was being drawn like he was in the cartoon and his mask showed however he was feeling.

I love CARRY ON films, I love DAD'S ARMY, I love George Formby and Will Hay films.... Guess there's nothing down for me then.

I think the Mask in the comic was a solid expressionless face. The cartoon had the lips.

I disagree.. I can't remember it exactly but wasn't the mask passed down through the generations? Even if it was a revision of the original, I doubt the tech existed to make a Nano mask... Hell, the Cobra Pogo still ran on Gasoline. hehehe
I think the Mask in the comic was a solid expressionless face. The cartoon had the lips. Actually, I think the one his father wore when he first met Baroness and Snake-Eyes as a young adult had some expression to it. I'll have to check it out tonight. He went from the silver to the gold, so has switched.
