why is it that every opinion is an argument or a debate point to you? cant we just be free to state our opinions without being called illogical? oh wait. i already know the answer to that.
you guys are missing the point. people are still upset that they waited this long to get a joe movie only to get something new and changed. no amount of discussion, debates, or arguing is going to change someones mind that wanted something else. someone wanting something else out of a movie is not illogical. its just different than your view so you try to argue them down when there was never an argument that needed to happen.

Logic and fans don't belong in the same sentence together.

Either way, call it what you want, Body Armor or Spandex - it should be outlawed.

Is it illogical? I find it hard to except, what seems to be the forbidden rule in costumes of color, "It won't translate". Yes, there costumes are ridculously colorful, but thats what made us fans gavitate towards the property in the first place. Colorful costume to match there equally flamboyant names.
Heres the scenario, walk with me. 'You and your friend are talking about comic book, science fiction, cartoon, etc. movies and you say, "hey, can't wait till they make a G.I.Joe movie based on RAH figures', and your homeboy says,'yeah, as long as they change the costumes because thats just not realistic." That is not realistic. I've never, and I mean never said any sh!!t like that, nor heard any sh!!t like that in any of my circles. When Spider-Man came out, who happens to sport a colorful costume, I didn't want change. I didn't want realism delivered through attire. I wanted realism delivered through script and dialogue. To try and justify the bad nature of colors on the characters through the usage of Street Fighter, is just a sluggish thought process. Street Fighter was just bad. Bad direction, bad acting, bad story, bad character focal point, and Van Damm. Just plain bad. The fact they were even wearing the costumes is the reason I bought it, which is housed in my collection as 'Guilty Pleasure'. So now were left with a plethora of movies to follow suit in the trendy 'black is better' format. How can a movie like Watchmen exist if black pleather is the way? Street Fighter in a much more compitent directors hands would have delivered alot more believability. So now, in this day and age, the fortitude of clothing is the template of reality. When has it become fashionable to inject stringent borders on ideas of the fantastic. G.I.Joe is shaping up to be a decent military movie, but not a "G.I.Joe" movie. yup!...i didn't want new and improved and i'm guessing that had they left all the classic look and history in place, very very few would complain about it...point is, just cause some of you have learned to accept the new Joe, doesn't mean the rest of us want too...
