Will we see Roadblock’s family?

The news are from last month, I didn’t see them posted her. Disney Channel’s “Jessie” star Skai Jackson twitted that she will play Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s daughter in the GI Joe film, didn’t notice her name in the previous movie cast list. the tweet is from May 9, the photos are from May 13.

It sounds like we will.

I think so, this would account for early rumors about the casting of twin african american girls. Remember that? Some people thought that they would be Tomax and Xamot. That was silly.

Very, very silly.


We'll undoubtedly see them in some capacity. One of the "complaints" from the test screening was that Roadblock and Duke mention the kids and they are never seen.

Its a movieverse... Tomax & Xamot are now two twin little Black girls whoes parents are GI Joe members... What a twist! COBRA!!!!!!

Whaaaat? You mean Rock won't be dressing up in prosthetics and drag to play all the members of his own family? It would be great to see that! Just like those roll-on-the-floor scenes from Nutty Professor or the whole Madea's Family movie franchise! Oh! And THEY can be all ninja's too! Man, that would be the best!

Why do I get the feeling this is getting to be less about G.I. Joe and more about the Rock...don't get me wrong...I love the Jabroni Beatin, Pie Eating, Eye brow raising, trail blazing People's Champion but just don't want him to take over my joeverse.

You get that feeling because it's true.

The character was written for the Rock and he picked the Roadblock codename.

He's already taking it over. Look at the Retaliation packaging. Roadblock is now the Joe team leader and the ultimate "ninja commando".
