Assuming the movie is a sellout,

Do you think it will influence the rereleases of the cartoon box sets?

Good question.

The new Joe movie will not keep "A Real American Hero" in theme, so I am not sure what to tell you.

Note that the title of the movie makes ZERO reference to America.

"GI Joe: Rise of Cobra?"

Not "GI Joe: A Real American Hero."

Not good for those of us who love "A Real American Hero."

Probably not. Transformers did really well, and no new box sets since.

if the movie kills in the box office, i anticipate the gi joe logo to be on everything. I remember when the ninja turtles movie cleaned up (still one of the top grossing comic movies to this day) and they had toothbrushes, playing cards, shave kits, memo pads...etc

If its a hit expect everything to say gi joe

Yeah, me fellow Dreadnoks won't be in. Is Zartan a human or alien creature?

Transformers Cybertron and Energon BOTH saw season set releases largely due to the success of the Transformers feature film.

Oh I hope so, and a man can dream can't he?
Why Hasbro let Rhino get away without releasing Season 2 Part 2, I'll never know. It was an injustice to all the fans.

Ditto regarding the last episodes of Jem. It was probably because the license already expired and wasn't renewed. At least that's what I've heard from the Jem camp (the last 20 episodes of Jem weren't released either in the U.S.)
