I think if the movie does well, you can look forward to a sequel-GI JOE:A REAL AMERICAN HERO, GI JOE:COUNTER STRIKE!, etc.

I dont know if the movie will be a sellout, but Im going to see it, new vehicles, lotta action-total guy flick. If its a total sellout Im just going to enjoy the hell out of the ride. Im hoping the toys are in the RAH style as far as Hasbro going over the top like with the NIGHT RAVEN, the playsets sound like they will be interesting as well.

when the TF movie was about to come out I tried picking up the original cartoon sets at Suncoast and places that sell movies, but couldn't find any of the box sets that I had seen there in the past. A suncoast employee said all the box sets of the original cartoon had been pulled and there was supposed to be a re-release... but that was a while back now and nothing yet.... at least I got my Beast Wars set. Maybe g.i.joe will get a 'complete series' release next year (just not as expensive as the Real Ghostbusters set please!)

Anybody remember the "Bionic-6?"
I wouldn't mind seeing that on DVD.

I still have to buy C.O.P.S. on DVD.

GI JOE, in general, has the potential to be Stars Wars huge.. I have no idea how the movie is going to be.. but from waht Ive read & seen so far.. it looks more like they are going for some low budget, 1 dimensional, story line.. if done right.. it could be epic.. I hope its good though

So how can it be done right with a linear story line?

Im saying if they made the GI Joe in the same way they made Star Wars.. it could be a huge blockbuster.. the characters are there.. the story is there.. they are just not using them right.. & yes.. The Dreadnoks should be in there too.. GI Joe has so much pontential.. I dont think they realize it...

Did the Live Transformers blow that potential? I didn't think it was that great.
