as capable as the F-18E is, i doubt it will be in the movie as a skystriker.
know why? as of late, every movie that needs a "cool attack jet" uses THIS and btw i think this should have been posted in the movie discussion section?

There is an EA-18G which is the ECM/EW version of the F/A-18F Super Hornet. However I do think an F-22 is more likely to take up the role of a new skystriker, than the F/A-18F. Just hope its not a reissue of the Thunderwing, and that if we do get a new F-22 toy, it has proportions far super to the Thunderwing. |

F-22 cant land on carriers. air force jets have
wimpy landing gear, and the F-14 as much as I love since I was a kid; its a dinosaur. |

It just needed a plane that could outdo it on all levels, just like it had outdone the F-4 Phantom II which it replaced. The fighter that replaces the Super Hornet will probably be better than both the Bug and Tomcat. With regards to gijoe, IF a skystriker is made for the anniversary line, it will probably be Tomcat based. If not, it would be like replacing Snake Eyes in the anniversary line with Black Dragon from Gijoe extreme. Now for a movie, its open game. Its most likely the F-22. Its been used before in gijoe, its "hip and cool" in the minds of moviemakers, and it is very popular. |

Your point is made. But If the flagg is in the movie
rest assure that a raptor will not land on it. You guys underestimate the super hornet. I've seen its preformance first hand and I now It's specs. Its not your average hornet. This thing is redesigned from the ground up. Not even the skeletal frame is the same. Same name but a diffrent class of aircraft. This thing would give a tomcat a run for its money. |
