How about casting James Woods as General Flagg?
He is a great actor, and I could see him wearing Class A's and a set of sunglasses.
It's too bad that Richard Crenna and Lee Marvin are dead.
They would stand and deliver as General Flagg fer sure!!!!

Chris Cooper is an excellent actor.
He performed well in Breach, and did really well in The Patriot also.
He would do great as General Flagg now that I think about it.

Turn to government contracts, kinda a Haliburton or Blackwater type providing security/bodyguards, thats how the Cobra Army is built. Maybe their distinctive helmets have somekind of mind control device in place. Maybe they do it for the money.
Because of all their money, Cobra is able research and build their own equipment through a defense contractor not willing or able to work for our government or any friendly government (enter Destro and MARS).
Now since they started out as a software company likened to a Microsoft, they've got software in place in various companies, banks and governments, and use that for blackmail.
Thats were GI Joe comes in.
Not officially attached to any formal military unit or under any military command. Operates outside normal military protocols.
Just my brief idea. |

At least for one of its major characters, Storm shadow, who I believe was derived from the white ninja of the Sho Kosugi movies: YouTube - Enter the Ninja Trailer
My worst fear it will turn out to be a campy movie like the mummy and van helsing. If it does turn out to be successful, part II should include Serpentor or the creation of.. then they can sign a contract with Marvel and bring in a superhuman character like Captain America as a counterbalance. |

And i'm ok with that.

Some I do agree with. Ray Park as Snake-Eyes..AWESOME choice. Scarlett looks OK for the most part. I will go see it though. I do agree with the costume comments I have been reading. Storm Shadow looks like someone out of the Matrix. The Baroness is another one that doesnt look to bad. Anyone see any pics with Arnold Vosloo as Zartan? oh and why no DIALTONE!?
