Or, why not do something like Darth Vader? Get someone sorta big to be the body, then use Michael Bell for the voice (This also sorta solves the mask problem) |

But I have to agree that Butler is the best of the options up here.
Admittedly I have only seen Vin "The Pacifier" Diesel, Vosloo and Caviezel in more then one project, but based on those limited viewings Butler seems to have the stature, presence and ability to do the part the most justice.
The only other person I could see wearing a suit and selling weapons would be Caviezel. But then I don't see him being able to carry the character over to the battle field. |

He was the rock guy in Hills of Eyes 2 and a lot of other great stuff. You Tube him, he would be a great Destro...he's naturally bald too so the mask would be a easy fit! |

He's tall, bald, has a european accent, has experience playing bad guys, isn't a household name and won't command an exorbitant salary and has worked with stephen sommers a few times already.
If I had to bet money on it, he;s the guy! |

He plays great villains, but not the kind that Destro is. Caviezel has always reminded me of the late, great Michael Zaslow, and I'd cast him in a movie version of "Roger Thorpe" in a heartbeat. But I can't think of a single Cobra character I'd give him.
But if Snake-Eyes had a face or a voice, Caviezel would be my choice. He's great as a brooding good guy or a charming bad-guy. |
