I like the casting choice of Arnold vosloo, he practically looks like Zartan and has that creepy confidently evil smile.

I really like the idea that Zartan is always a different person in the movie. Impossible to fix is the true problem of this guy. If the movie go deep on the idea (read the filecard) Zartan is ereryone and noone.
(Zar' in ethiopian means a Spirit/Ghost which take control of your life (possession possibly)).
