I don't know about you guys, but I don't want Danny Ocean as the leader of the most elite group of military personal ever. Actually, for that matter, I don't want him as their opponant either.

And no, he can't be Destro because Destro needs to have that Subtle accent... and Clooney couldn't do it. Nope his best bet is Hawk. |

I still haven't made a decision yet on this piece of news; however, I've always enjoyed his work. My two favorites of his would be Three Kings & Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.
Even though he is older than most of us think of when we think of Duke. But, Duke is the leader; and most leaders are older than the people he/she commands. Clooney has grown a lot as an actor over the last few years and I don't think he would take a role if he didn't have some plan (other than to make a ton of cash). I might be putting too much stock into the guy though.

Finally, we were advised that George Clooney is not involved at all with G.I. Joe, contrary to a casting rumor reported online yesterday.

I could maybe see him as Flint but that's about it.

There's also a statement on Hasbro's website. Clooney is not involved in any way. Just a rumor. Just like the "voice of Prime" rumor.
