Body language and such, to make it believable. The human mind associates movement more so with form than pure "looks". I think it's why the Predator with the mask on functions so well, because the body and Predator movements are done really great- especially when portrayed by Kevin Peter Hall. Kane Hodder did a good job with Jason Voorhees also. It's going to be about how the mask moves and how the character moves with it on. Visually, it'll be cool, but for me, it's all about the movement- that's where the first step in securing a cool mask should come from. Does it move right on his head? when he turns? when he speaks? when he walks? when he fights etc, etc. That's the key to a good key prop like this whether it's CG or phys-FX.

If I were to design it, it would be practical, so his ears and eyes would be open, and his mouth would be open just for the fact it would let the actor emote.
I guess it would look something like this. (Realize I did this real quick, with about the first pic of Chris Eccelston I could find)

Bout the same, but i played with his eyes a bit.
And for the green eyes fans (maybe destro can have little green tented lenses in the helmet, night vision, etc, w/e.)

You have heard correct. CC controls Destro with the nanites. They encase his head like liquid mercury. |
