Joe The Movie (Live Action) Film. His other film credits include such film as: X-Men: The Last Stand, Rush Hour 3. Raiders of the Lost Ark, E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial and many more.
For those of you that do not know what a Production Designer role is in the making of a film :
From early in pre-production, the production designer collaborates with the director and director of photography to establish the visual feel and specific aesthetic needs of the project. The production designer guides key personnel in other departments such as the costume designer, the key hair and make-up stylists, the special effects director and the locations manager (among others) to establish a unified visual appearance to the film. |

Raiders of the Lost Ark? I don't know, I think I would feel more confident with a some young production designer who may have grown up with G.I. Joe and, a the least, vaguely remembers the characters, and thus has ideas on how to update them for todays movie going audience. |

(Also, I'm sure Hasbro will supply him with a lot of sample artwork and such) |

I don't think many. add to the fact that I am sure he was more interested in furthering his career than absorbing the characters of his childrens toys, it is probably unlikely.
I'm not saying he won't do a great job, or even having an interest in Joe is a requisite to do the job expertly, just that it would have been nice to have someone who does. |
