Movie Cobra Commander should he Rock the Featureless Chrome Mask or the Hooded look?
I really hope they go with the featureless chrome mask! For the movie I think it will give off a better effect. However if they do go with the Hooded Version I would expect it do be the Updated Black version from the DDP comics.
Why not both chrome-face and hooded? I can see the majority of the show being him in the hood then the 'final battle' being him in his helmet, or maybe battle armor?
I do like the idea of mostly in hood then faceplate for final battle. Don't really know what the black DDP version is since I stopped reading DDP around 2004 or so

I think if he looks like a toy people will think he is cheesy. So he has to be somewhat believable. You have to imagine that this guys exists somewhere in real life for people to accept Cobra Commander. He shouldn't be too campy. His look should be ultra-military. Like a General visiting Capitol Hill for a Congressional meeting.
Actually, basing him on the "GI Joe Reborn" series take on Cobra Commander wouldn't be a terrible idea. THAT Cobra Commander was actually shockingly competent.
Note, I'm not suggesting they adopt the "GI Joe Reborn" series as the basis for a movie, even though I enjoyed it. Just that making the CC character more competent, believable, and threatening wouldn't be a bad way to go.
