Not much love for Serpentor. I agree he shouldn't be in this movie. If the movies do well and they make more. I think he would great to bring in and freshen up the series. Maybe to end the trilogy or to set up a 2nd trilogy.

It's funny how this movie is 2-3 years away and were already talking trilogy's lol.

i agree...total fav of mine too.

alot of people groaned when sommers was announced as director....personally, i enjoyed the mummy movies and i enjoyed van helsing (was a tad long though).

sommers seems to have the outlook that the joe movie will need to make us happy. that outlook is FANTASY.

i dont want only a master of disguise, i want the chameleon DNA angle.
i dont want joes using green abrams tanks and humvees while cobra uses black abrams tanks and humvees. i want top secret, fantastic, unique, war machines.
(granted not to the extent of the sharc or trubble bubbles, but certainly awe-strikers and hiss tanks.)

i think that sommers will deliver on the fantasy level.

it always made me laugh when bryan singer wanted to ground the Xmen in reality.
okay...you want to ground mutated humans, who control weather, fire beams out of their eyes, control magentic fields, teleport and such, in reality......hmm...very realistic.

Thinking about it more and more, They could really screw up Destro.

silver cause it was first. the mask should be reminsent of the comic and cartoon. since masks mouths cant move if their metal, id go for a green goblin screaming open mouth look to it.

I hope that Destro starts with the Silver Mask. Then if they do follow up movies he can have the Gold with his IG's.

I would be find with Hooded or chrome-masked as long as they don't change him much from those 2 designs.

Didn't Destro actually move his mouth and have facial expressions in the cartoon?

I know that's impossible with a mask, but couldn't they acheive the same result with the "Silver Surfer" facial treatment?

What do you guys think, would that be acceptable?

I think for Destro's mask something like this should be done, that way you can see his mouth move and interpret facial expressions like disgust and anger (most likely with CC)
