I am super excited for this movie to come and to be a good action flick. I am no longer expecting it to be what I want so I am fine with whatever they make (within reason of course). | |

It isn't set in the 80's, special forces don't each go round with indvidualistic clothing, terrorists don't sport large faction symbols and supervillains don't wear metal masks all the time.
All these things have to be considered when translating such a larger than life property to the 'real' world and I think they've done the best they can in striking a balance between 'traditional' Joe and real world verisimilitude.
