I agree that V2 ARAH Snake Eyes is the definitive version and I did not realize he had lips, but with that said...
I could give a rip about realism when it comes to stuff like G. I. Joe. If you’re wearing a VERY thin and VERY tight mask then yes, your lips will show, but it looks lame! If you can see all of your features under a mask, then what is the point of wearing a mask? The whole reason behind wearing one to begin with is to look scary and menacing. And movie Snake Eyes looks more like his mask is more like a helmet with molded parts, and so it looks like the lips are molded onto the front. And that is not cool my friends, not cool at all.
And Bat-nipples aren’t why that movie sucked, but they did make it A LOT worse when it didn’t seem possible for that movie to be worse.
Prime’s lips bothered me in Transformers as well. They just looked weird and out of place.
