I voted "no" only because its not what G.I. Joe is about.

I agree with RolandofGilead too. It would miss its target audience.

Do I want a good action movie with lots of guns? yeah!

I don't want to see parachutes and lasers in a movie either. That's why I think Resolute will totally work for me. I want the good violent action but with an "R" movie that means, Duke saying "holy F*#k" which isn't in his character. Also, "R" means lots of slow bullet hits with blood splattering all over the walls and lots of good head shots with chucks flying everywhere.

Why would I want to see this in a G.I. Joe movie? I can watch Shoot Em Up where it works better.

For a G.I. Joe movie to succeed both for kids and adults the PG-13 rating is just perfect. Allows lots of guns, even some violence yet curbs the gallons of blood.

R for violence. I don't really see nudity being a huge factor in a GI Joe movie or being necessary.

Absolutley not. GI Joe is about Joe vs. Cobra and it's unique characters that have been developed for almost 30 years. R rated material has no place in the Joe universe that I enjoy.

As long as it wasn't an R-rating just for "xtreme's sake." A war movie with intense, warlike situations would be fine. Blood and guts, death, language... none of it bothers me, but I still have to be able to believe these are my Joes in these situations.

Heck, yes, I would.

Especially if there is a "John Matrix" or "John Rambo" conclusion to the film.

You know, the kind where it's Snake Eyes versus 100 terrorists, and he kills every single one of them.

Once the smoke clears, we see Snake Eyes emerge with his buddies (Rip Cord, Duke, Flash, etc...) who were being held captive.

The end could conclude with Scarlett and the other Joes showing up in various aircraft and tracked vehicles.

She then sees what has happened, and gives him a hug and kiss.

The final sequence would feature Cobra Commander, being thought dead, slithering onto a (Cobra vehicle of choice) and escaping.
