Hearing people prejudge this without seeing it just makes me want him to nail the role all the more.

Gary Oldman & Willam DeFoe are too old. CC in this script is within a few years of Duke & The Baroness.

Yeah, that guy can play any character and make it believable.

There is nothing more that I would like to see than the guy "nail the role", but I do have my doubts about the guy. It's just a hypothetical question to begin with.

As far as the script goes. Well I haven't read it. I'm basing My decision on what I know, and have known about the character Cobra Commander for years. Not on a script none of us (or few of us) has read.

with a different script someone Tim Roth or Williem Dafoe would have been perfect, with what I have seen from this script I would vote for Cillian Murphy from Batman Begins

I always thought Tim Roth or Kevin Spacey.

honestly I never gave it much thought as to who would play CC in a live action movie. Even reading the dialogue in the comicbooks I always had the cartoon voice in my head.

Tim Roth.

Of course with the new younger take, maybe the guy they got will surprise us.

Agreed about the cartoon voice, but that guys dead. Alice cooper dose that kind of voice, and it sounds pretty close to me
