Here in Michigan, I love TARGET but who would've thought that some day a store with one aisle dedicated to action figures would trump the famous Toys 'R' Us in toy selection and availability... go figure?
I vividly remember wanting my own car at age six just so I could drive up to Toy 'R' Us whenever I wanted. I couldn't wait to be old enough to work, just so I could give my entire check to Toys 'R' Us! Then when I turned eight, I put two and two together and figured if I worked at Toys 'R' Us I could have it ALL!!!! Wasn't TRU the first to allow its' customers to play/sample live video games in the store? Anyone remember Geoffrey money? |

What happened to TRU? Walmart and other similar retailers.

I have to go with Wal-Mart. Toys-R-Us never has anything in my area, & Target once plentiful with Joe's has been dry of late. Plus the fact that I get a discount at Wal-Mart helps.

How about none of the above? They all suck around here. I have to use them all with less than stellar results.

Yeah, they all pretty much suck where I live. I'd say Wal-Mart has the upper hand (they at least get shipments in more than once a month) and then TRU and Target are both equally horrible. Online retail is where the best chance of getting this stuff is now (at least for me).

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the stores in my area blow. 95% of my GI Joes come from online retailers, mostly BBTS.

Anyone remember Geoffrey money?
WORD! Remember Geoffrey would have all of his "buddies" show up at new store openings? Like the Get-Along-Gang & All*Star the Snork? Wow. I just dated myself. I'm gonna stfu and get back to enjoying this werther's original while I glance at my reader's digest and pray that beatrice gets here soon so we get a good seat over at the Old Country Buffet. |
