I'm Canadian. TRU gets stuff about once every 2 months and wal-mart even less frequently. There are no Targets, Kohls, or Meijers here.

The only places that get American carded joes ever are small comic stores. I pay a small premium, but for me, its easier than spending gas trapesing across the border to find them which is about my only option if I want to find them at retail.

EDIT: and Wal-mart ONLY gets singles. No CPs, no vehicles, no DVDs, no multipacks.

I purchase more stuff from TRU and KB than Target or WM. My KB is having a buy 3 get the 4th free sale, and adding an additonal 10% off after that! That means that if I can find 4 Joes I want, they're around $6 each, and they have waves 10 and 11. I know Target has $5 Joes, but they don't have anything ever. I get all excited to check them out, then I end up leaving with only my dick in my hand.

As much as I hate to admit it... I have to say Target. In the Victor Valley they get everything first, and they usually have the most in stock at all times.

Now if they could just stop being a bunch of ass-monkeys in the customer service department, they'd be perfect.

I work at Lowe's part time while I'm in school... and if I ignored my customers in the same frequency that Target employees here in So. Cal. do, I'd have been in the unemployment line long ago.

i barely hunt anymore, BBTS and HTS for me. if it's a full case, BBTS ~ if i only want select figures from a wave (10, 11, 12), HTS

2. Wal-Mart
3. Target

Between Joe Club and HTS, I get most stuff in the mail long before it hits retail shelves.

Okay I'm gonna go way back! Earlier people were talking about how awesome the trips to TRU use to be when we were kids, I remember that too...but then I started thinking about how I use to get my joes from Woolworths, Gemco (bought out by Target) Newberry's and Zody's...does anybody remember these little gems of a store...haha

I never collected Joes as a kid. I was into Transformers and MASK. But after I would peruse the half a TF aisle, I'd turn the corner and admire the FULL aisle dedicated to GI JOE. It was definitely a sight to see from around 83-88 or so.
