I find this very interesting. I'm a 32 year old man and in 1985 when the cartoon came out I was 9 years old. The Joes were my heroes and many kids my age loved the Joes. Cobra was the enemy and as a 9 year old I wanted the Joes to win and they always did. Don't get me wrong I had friends that liked Storm Shadow, Zartan, and the Crimson Guard Twins but not as much as they liked Duke, Snake-Eyes, or Shipwreck. As I grew up I realized how cool and interesting the characters, especially in the Marvel comic book Cobra was. But as a loyal guy I will always be a GI JOE.
