For Christmas in 1984, my parents got me the GI Joe Headquarters. I am sure it came with a figure or two to go with the base, but I can't remember specifically which ones. I was hooked and collected obsessively until 1988 when my interest faded because the cartoon was no longer on and the figures got a bit ridiculous. I was out of collecting until about 2000 when I started again (almost from scratch, but I still have parts of the original HQ).
